Episode #209: Grit, Self-Awareness & Sabbath with Bianca Juarez Olthoff
In today’s episode of The Conversation, Adam sits down with Bianca Juarez Olthoff. She’s a wife, step-mom, pastor & author.
Together, the two talk about grit. What is it? How to cultivate more of it? How grit is different from hustle and the importance of Sabbath and rest. Bianca also dives into self-awareness and how it’s critical to know who you are in order to be “gritty.”
Near the end, Adam asks Bianca if there’s an area of her life in which she’s personally asking God for more grit (a question she’s never been asked before) and she responds by sharing she has struggled with her weight since she was a teen. Her answer is vulnerable and really relatable.
So, to anyone having a similar struggle or if you generally feel like you lack confidence, perseverance and grit, we hope her answer and encouragement brings you hope!
