Episode #234 - Leaving Jesus & The Church - Why You Should Consider Staying with Blaine Eldredge

A recent Pew Research Center study estimates that 31% of people raised in the Church become unaffiliated between ages 15 to 29 and an additional 7% of people raised in the Church become unaffiliated later in life, after the age of 30.

Why is this happening?
Why should a person consider staying?
Is there anything that can or should be done?

In today’s conversation, I sit down with author and teacher Blaine Eldredge.

Blaine grew up in a home with parents who are both well-known Christian leaders. You might be familiar with his dad, author John Eldredge.

Even though he grew up in a “Christian home”, Blaine went through periods of time wrestling with his faith and exploring other options.

Listen in to hear Blaine’s thought provoking response to why many are leaving the Church and what can be done about it.
