Episode #220: Barriers to Asian American Women in the Church & Navigating the Wilderness We All Experience with guest Faith Eury Cho
As an Asian-American woman who has been a preacher since age 19, Faith Eury Cho knows what barriers are present in many churches today.
In this episode, Adam & Faith discuss some of the specific challenges Asian-American women face both inside the Asian-American Church and outside of it.
Instead of allowing these barriers to limit her, they’ve inspired her to help bring about change.
In 2020, she co-founded a church with her husband. She also founded the Honor Summit, a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping and activating Asian-American women for the mission of God. And Faith shares ways non-Asian Americans can help.
Adam & Faith also discuss the times of Wilderness we experience throughout life, when we feel separated from God’s presence.
Faith shares her powerful wilderness story and asks the question, “What if the purpose of our wandering is not to reach the Promised Land but to recognize that God is with us in the desert?”
